POSCO was formerly known as Pohang Galvanized Steel Sheet. We began business in 1988 and merged in 1999 with Pohang Steel, a color coated steel plate manufacturer. In order to better provide services and develop business, we established a Shanghai branch in 2000.Our business continues to evolve; we specialize in surface treatment to produce diverse offerings, such as aluminum-plated and aluminum-zinc alloy-plated sheets, and INFINeLI, a color coated sheet that offers more design and color options. We are compelled to grow into a 'global top steel design & solution business' by delivering the full array of steel sheets applications for automobiles, home appliances and building materials. POSCO continues to innovate and seek transformation, thereby enhancing corporate value. POSCO Shanghai Branch exports a wide range of steel products including hot rolled sheets, plate, wire rod, cold rolled sheets, galvanized sheets and stainless steel to many countries, earning worldwide recognition for its superb technology and excellent quality. The products sell well all over the country and are exported to more than 50 countries including the European Union, the United States, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. The products distributed by our company are guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have a complete pre-sale, in-sale and after-sales service system. Our company has a strong standing stock of thousands of tons, sufficient supply and complete specifications. It has formed an annual inventory turnover of more than 9,000 tons and more than 800 specifications.
